The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The first, good impression and colour. Soiled, rubbed, creased. Wear to paper edges and some restorations. Fixed to backing card at top two corners.
The second, fair impression and colour. Rubbed overall and some soiling. Paper thinning in places and a few very small repairs.
The third, fair impression and colour. Margins trimmed to borders, slightly soiled and creased. Paper thin in places and traces of mounting tape to verso.
