The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The first, good impression and colour. Margins trimmed to borders and very light soiling.
The second, good impression and colour. Vertical centrefold with damages restored from verso. Paper edges with wear and restorations. Some soiling, creasing and rubbing.
The third, good impression and colour. Right edge re-margined. Binding holes to left margin restored. Top left and bottom left corners repaired and paper edges with small damages and repairs. Light soiling and rubbing.
The fourth, good impression, fair colour. Creased overall with paper thinning. Damages to paper edges with restorations. Light soiling.
