The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The first, good impression and colour. Soiled, including a heavier mark within the boat’s roof. Rubbed and slightly creased. Restorations within margins and wormholes repaired within water and sky.
The second, good impression and colour. Vertical fold in left margin with very small damage top and bottom. Very slight soiling to margins and top and bottom margin unevenly trimmed.
The third, fair impression and colour. Soiled, creased and toned overall. Small damages at paper edges. Some trimming.
The fourth, fair impression, colours faded. Left margin trimmed, paper toned and with small damages to edges. A few very small repairs.
