The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Generally good impressions and colours. Some trimming, creasing and small repairs to most.
In addition to the above:
The third with wormholes restored to right edge and further small repairs to left edge. Soiled.
The fourth with wormholes repaired in right and top margin. Paper edges with small damages and restorations.
The sixth rubbed overall and soiled. Lower left corner with large repair and wormhole repaired in bottom margin. Worn overall.
The ninth with wormholes restored in right margin.
The tenth soiled and left, right and bottom margins trimmed almost to borders.
The eleventh paper toned.
Fourteenth, black border added, old damages overall. Backed. Colours faded.
Nineteenth, rubbed, especially bottom edge, margins repaired and edges worn.
Twentieth, colours faded, margins added.
