The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The first, good impression and colour. Each sheet creased, light soiling to edges. A larger repair at bottom left edge of middle sheet and a number of holes repaired elsewhere. Wear to paper edges.
The second, toned overall. Soiled, rubbed and creased. Restorations in particular along top edges, and a few elsewhere. Small damages to paper edges.
Third, fourth and fifth, creased, restorations, soiling, trimming.
