The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Generally good impressions and colours. Some soiling, creasing and rubbing. Some with thinning paper and most trimmed in places. Many with slight wear to paper edges. Most with small paper restorations. In addition to the above: No. 7 with restorations particularly to edges and trimming to top and right margins. No. 12 with colours faded and small repairs. Restorations within figure’s face, fish’s body and paper edges. No. 19 with a few small restorations and wear to paper edges. No. 21 with a few small restorations. Uneven trimming. No. 30 backed. No. 40 bottom right corner restored. No. 43 toned. No. 45 trimmed to borders. No. 49 backed and faint horizontal and vertical centrefold. No. 57 binding holes restored to right margin. No. 81 toned overall. No. 83 trimmed to borders.
