The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The first, good impression and fair colour. Creased and rubbed overall and some soiling. Wear to paper edges. Each sheet fixed together forming one long design, however the sheets are coming apart along the joins.
The second, fair impression and colour. Edges very worn with losses, particularly bottom edges and all corners. Soiled, creased and rubbed overall. Trimmed. Each sheet backed.
The third and fourth, fair impressions and colours. Both worn overall with creasing, soiling and rubbing. Trimmed and backed onto card. Large paper losses to bottom edges.
