The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The painted canvas flags on the reverse of the canvas can be shown or hidden. Surface dust is scattered on the face and side edges. Faint handling marks are scattered to the interior rim of the circle and the side edges. Pinpoint surface accretions are occasional, most noticeably to the white passages, and a few tiny nicks are infrequently to the upper right quadrant in a black passage. Hairline cracks and associated artist corrections, all in keeping with the artist’s working method, are visible to interior and exterior edges.
