The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Gouache, pen and ink and pencil on paper. The sheet is taped around the edges to a supporting board. Artist's pinholes to the four corners. There is a diagonal crease at the upper left corner with associated small losses. The sheet is slightly cockled in places. On close inspection there is evidence of craquelure with associated small losses in places. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
