Oil on board. Nailed to a stretcher at the extreme edges, from the time of execution. The upper edge of the board has come away from the stretcher. Minor frame abrasion with a few associated small paint losses and one or two small nicks in the board in places. A small loss in the board at the upper left corner and a fine pressure mark at the extreme upper left edge. Examined under ultra-violet light: there are two areas of fluorescence to the right of the woman's left foot and on the sheet at the left lower edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
