The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Oil on board. The board is slightly bowed. Some frame abrasion and scuffing to the corners and edges. The lower right and lower left corners with a small pressure mark. Soft creasing to the upper layer of the board from the time of execution. There appears to be a small area of paint loss and old restoration to the centre of the vessel, however this does not fluoresce under ultra-violet light. Examined under ultra-violet light: nothing shows. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
