The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on canvas laid down on board. Varnished. Slight frame abrasion to the edges. Lower edge of the canvas slightly irregular. A very fine diagonal line of craquelure at the lower left corner with an associated pinpoint of paint loss. A few flecks of gold paint residue from a previous frame to the lower edge. Examined under ultra-violet light. Small area of inpainting to right of signature, and scattered small strokes.
