Opaque and transparent pigments heightened with gold on paper, standing facing right, wearing a jewelled turban and an embroidered robe, his head nimbed with a gold halo, his left hand holds a long gun, the right hold a wick, a dead lion rests at his feet, a herd of deer in the hilly background, laid down on cream card with gold-speckled borders, between black and gold rules, inscription in black devanagari along the bottom; the reverse with a nasta'liq quatrain, each line between gold foliage, signed in the lower left corner, bewteen gold and black rules, old collection label and notes in places
