The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

As visible in the catalogue photograph, the borders of the drawing are uneven as they are a number of tears and small losses. Old sellotape repairs on the reverse have stained the drawing (see the two rectangular brown marks on the right hand side). Light waterstaining on and around the top right corner. Occasional brown spotting. Three old paper tape repairs on reverse. The drawing is fragile and should be manipulated with care.
