The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This painting is in overall good condition. It has some areas of scuffing and flaking, and a few areas of spot staining, most visible in the grassy hill at the centre of the composition. Similarly the margins suffer from minor areas of scuffing and flaking. The reverse has a small owner's mark in pencil, and some light waterstaining.
