The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall the figure is very well preserved. As visible on the catalogue photograph, there is an area of flaking along the left border where the paper has been slightly damaged. There is some small brown staining in places and a black finger print in the top left corner. Very minor craquelure to the green background. The brown borders are slightly warped. Remains of cloth binding along the left edge. The reverse has a large defaced seal impression with some waterstaining and old scuffing marks.
