The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This painting shows strong pigments and contrasts overall. The pink courtyard, white wall and blue sky are slightly rubbed with very minimal staining. The sky shows a light chip to the right side above one of the smaller red pennants. Its upper left corner is tarnished and shows extensive rubbing. The edges borders are fritted and show substantial losses especially tot he corners and right hand side.
