The portrait is painted on a rectangular piece of paper which is laid down on card. The black background and foreground of grass are later extensions. There is some minor scuffing along the edges of the inner rectangular panel on which the portrait is painted. Minor light black stain across the cheek. Otherwise in good condition. The borders are in fair condition with light scuffing in the top right corner.
