The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This painting shows heavy rubbing to the pigments overall. In places, this has translated into loss and discoloration. This work has suffered from exposition to humidity which has affected the structure of the paper. it is now backed with mesh and stabilised. The corners shows some losses and heavy scuffing.
