The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The worst condition concern on this painting is the area of scuffing which is at the top of the painting, almost at the centre in the yellow band. This is about 2cm. across and should be visible in the image. There is also some mild staining, worst in the lower right hand corner. There is also a very small repaired tear, about 0.5cm. long at this point. There are minor areas of flaking of paint. The painting has very narrow borders which have been laid down around the painting. The reverse has a later number in pen and in pencil.
