The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There are areas of incrustation scattered across the varied surface as well as white and green accretion in the recessed areas. There is pitting to the surface throughout. There is some loss to the details of the raised decoration as a result of incrustation and accretion. The remains of gilding are scattered across the surface. The underside reveals a clay core.
