Woman & Triangle depicts the Matrix symbol of femininity, which enclose and represent the Mother, her protection and generosity. The painting portrays a nude woman kneeling, covered with a mantle. Just behind the woman there is a large blue triangle, surrounded by water which turns into a light blue sky. Blue as the main colour gives a positive effect to the mind and recalls calm and tranquillity.

Raffaele Coletta loves to express himself through the fascinating media of oil paints and the different possibilities that this medium offers, using and mixing it using brushes, palette knife, rags, fingers and more. His interest in art revolves around how the human body and mind work. Everything else related to these areas also consume his attention. Raffaele has experimented with the human form in many ways that challenge the norm about the connection between body and mind. Creating surrealistic images in most of his paintings, he explores expressions of human’s emotions and feelings. As the painting and experimenting process developed about the human mind, Raffaele’s works started to reflects his own thoughts and emotions, in which his subtle portrait can be related to the viewer's mind. Raffaele studied Art in Italy and also obtained his BA (hons) Fine Art from London South Bank University and an HND in Graphic Design at the City and Islington College, London.
