“These paintings are part of my series in which the layering and scraping of fluorescent vinyl acrylic polymer and metallic sheets create vibrating color optics that resemble digital imagery. The viewer is encouraged to experience the paintings from different angles or vantage points to alter their perception of what they are seeing and to inspire tranquility. In addition to geometric shapes, this hand rendered faux digital technique has been applied to paintings of people and their pets.”
