This finely sculpted stele shows Vishnu, the Hindu god as sustainer as well preserver. He is dedicated to the maintenance of the dharma or the universal order. His principle hands hold rosary and conch while the upper hands show the club and wheel. He is sumptuous ornamented with finely executed jewellery. Three attendants are flanking him at either side. The first pair, closest to his legs, is probably a personification of his attributes as one is holding the conch. At head level is depicted Shiva holding trident and Brahma with manuscript. The hard surface, the crisp and sharp details are characteristic for sculptures from this region.
