The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau se présente dans un état de conservation satisfaisant. Il est sur une toile qui a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage très probablement au début du XXe siècle, bien réalisé, qui n'a pas compressé la matière. Il est sous un vernis encrassé qui a besoin d'être allégé. On remarque quelques légères reprises dans le ciel.
A l'UV, le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert, épais, partiellement déverni dans le ciel. On remarque quelques légères restaurations dans le ciel, dans un cadre en bois sculpté doré de style Louis XIV (78 x 104 cm.)

The painting is in a good overall condition. It has been relined probably during the first half of the XXth century. The relining has been correctly done and dit not flattened the paint surface. It is under a dirty varnish that could be cleaned. We can see minor restoration in the sky.
Examination under UV lighting reveals few restorations in the sky. It is covered in a thick coat of varnish, partially removed in the sky.
