The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A l’œil nu, le tableau se présente dans un assez bon état de conservation. Il est peint sur un panneau dont le cadre est intégré. Le panneau est d’une planche, non parqueté, dont le revers est mouluré. A l’œil nu on constate des manques à droite vers le milieu et dans le chapeau du modèle.
A la lampe UV, on constate des repeints ponctuels sur le visage du modèle (nez et joues), et les inscriptions ont été renforcées. Il est sous un vernis vert uniforme.

ENGLISH
In natural light, the painting is in a good state of conservation. It is painted on a panel whose frame is integrated. The panel is from a plank, without a parquet floor, whose reverse is sculpted. In natural light, we notice a few gaps on the right around the middle and in the model’s hat.
Examination under the UV lamp reveals a few punctual restorations on the model’s face (nose and cheeks), and the inscriptions have been reinforced. It is covered under a coat of green uniform varnish.
