The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Glue-lined. Lines of craquelure throughout with a few scattered pin-points of loss to the pigment. Varnished. Minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges. Examined under ultraviolet light. The canvas presents with a milky green varnish. Scattered short strokes of inpainting, primarily to the extreme edges and to a passage in the tree at center left.
