The overall measurement of the paperboard is 18⅛ x 18½ inch and is framed with an oval mat. There is a 2½ inch loss to the paperboard in the lower right corner, and a half inch loss along the right edge, the losses obscured by the mat. The paperboard is hinged to the mat along the upper edge. There are a series of repaired tears and cracks to the paperboard along the extreme edges, the largest of which is approximately 7½ inches, in the upper right quadrant (obscured by the mat) and a four inch crack along the lower left. The aforementioned cracks with associated wear to the pigment.
