The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is unlined. Stretcher bar marks slightly visible. Minor surface soiling. There is an area of unobtrusive craquelure, primarily visible in the upper center of the canvas, . Frame abrasion along the extreme edges with scattered associated losses to the pigment. There is a 1½ inch repaired tear in the lower right corner. When examined under UV light, the aforementioned repair fluoresces, in addition to a minor spot of inpainting in the model's hair near the flowers.
