Opening to a polished surface. Overall with nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. With typical minor shrinkage cracks and losses to the carving, as to be expected. With variations to the tone of wood, particularly when closed as it is sunfaded. With minor small scattered repairs and restorations, including but not limited to the brackets. Some glue residue to the undersides.
With old paper label marked '...son's depository...' to the underside of the drawer.
