We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- Appears to be in overall good condition
- The figure had been mounted as a lamp; the seal plate is missing and replaced by two narrow supports
- Expected wear overall, with some loss to pigments to hair and light rubbing to gilt
- A few expected minor indentations to the edges and extremities
- Two small holes, possibly casting flaws, along the seam between the figure and the lotus plinth
