The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Generally good condition; some light wear; a few nicks to the footrim; the mark possibly ground; the interior of the cover with an incised 2 in the making, partially painted over. Chromium was found in the green enamels during XRF testing, indicating 19th century decoration.
