The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition; some minor scratches and wear, mainly where the box rests; some small losses to the metal holding the box cover in place with some associated added gilding to the rim to disguise the loss. No chromium was found in the green enamels during XRF testing.
