The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Some scratches and wear; some minute chips to the footrims. The gilding on the pair of saucers quite worn in places. One cup broken in pieces and restuck with old yellowed overpaint to the handle terminals on one handle. The single saucer with a restored chip at 2 o’clock and some minor fritting near 8:30 o’clock. No chromium was found in the green during XRF testing.
