The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some scratches and wear to the enamel and mounts, some small losses to the blue enamel throughout, the spray of flowers re-enameled now yellowing, with re-paint and with scattered hairline cracks, the cover splitting and separating around the border between the sapphires and the blue enamel, the enameled arms loose and able to rotate, but secure in the frame, the front and back covers both tight, in an associated box by J.W. Benson Ltd. stamped on the front with the Royal cypher of George VI and the date 1937 in gilt lettering.
