The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall the miniatures are in good order and appearance with general wear and some discoloration from age. The two larger oval miniatures are signed on the lower edge/ truncation of the bust portrait and the signatures are visible in the online catalogue images. The smaller circular portrait is signed around the outer edge. Please note, the portrait miniatures have not been examined outside of their frames. There is some dust which has gotten into the frame between the glass. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the condition of the frames, two of which have breaks to lower section, as shown in the online catalogue images, and all which have had general wear and small losses etc., and could benefit from re-framing if desired. The online catalogue images are accurate.
