The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
4 Mennecy Pots & Covers: three incised D,V,; all four covers and two pots with puce line rims, two with puce line rims to the bowls; three covers with chips to finial berry stems.
6 Paris Pots & Covers: light wear to gilt rims; one cover with a rim chip, one cover with one quarter broken out, restuck and with an associated rim chip, the interior overpainted and oxcidized; the foot rims with kiln sand.
Script M mark – possibly the Swedish factory of Marieberg: small chip and fritting to the foot rim; wear to gilt line rims; flaking to puce decoration on the edges of the handle.
