The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The porcelain presents well; some light wear and rubbing the enamels; the gilding on the tree-shrews worn; a small chip or loss to the shoulder, possibly where a berry was; two faint hairline cracks to the neck. Not examined off its lamp mounts. Lamps are not checked for working order and shades are not inspected for condition (the inner lamp shade torn/tattered).
