The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In good overall condition. The metal overall with some minor surface scratches, slight casting inconsistencies, light oxidation and rubbing, as to be expected. The ormolu retains mercury gilding. Some scratches to the underside of the lid, not visible when it is placed. Would benefit from a sympathetic cleaning. Overall good condition, ready to place.
