The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall presentation. With scattered chips, losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age. The white-painted wood gradation section with some flaking, scuffs and general cracking, refreshments to the painting in this area. The glazing over the dial with the typical scratches as well, an overall cloudy appearance to it and the dial; could benefit from a sympathetic cleaning. The doors at the back are hinged with later fabric tape. Overall presenting well, ready to hang.
