The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. With scattered chips, losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age; some restorations to the gilding. One long rail and one short rail each with a short section of reinforcement along its upper edge, at the same corner. Overall with evidence of minor previous woodworm, now inactive. The upholstery with minor marks, faint discoloration and overall signs of wear, as to be expected from use. Overall good condition, ready to place.
