The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. With scattered age and construction cracks, and with general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. The veneers overall with scattered fraying, lifting, and minor cracks with minor areas of losses and signs of infill and restorations, particularly surrounding the slide and at the drawer front. The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, slight casting inconsistencies, light oxidation and rubbing, as to be expected; the metal apparently regilt. The leather to the two surfaces is later, with the usual light scratches, marks and wear. Overall good condition, ready to place.
