The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. The porcelain with no apparent repairs or restoration; with the expected minor imperfections, in the making. Scattered minor scratches, rubbing and wear to the surface, consistent with age and handling; a few small chips to the flower petals at the finial, and to the edge of the foot. The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, slight casting inconsistencies, light oxidation and rubbing, as to be expected. Overall good condition, ready to place.
