The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. With scattered chips, losses to carving and ebonized and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age; the decoration refreshed in areas. The undersides with upholstery webbing spanning the rails, making it difficult to examine the rails; through this webbing, later corner-blocks are visible. One back right leg is repaired. The upholstery is in good condition, with scattered minor marks, faint discoloration and overall signs of wear, as to be expected from use. Overall good, ready to place.
