The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. As stated in the cataloguing, the ormolu mounts are of mid-18th century manufacture and the figures are 19th century, probably replacements for similar previous figures, each well-fitted to its mount. The ormolu and patinated brass with some minor surface scratches, slight casting inconsistencies, light oxidation and rubbing, as to be expected. There are traces of gilding to the robes of the figures, now mostly lacking; the faces with some slight golden tone from rubbing to the brass. The nozzles with some verdigris at their interiors. Overall good condition, ready to place.
