From the library of Irene Roosevelt Aitken, a group of desk articles of which three are made with 18th-century French bookbindings displaying royal and aristocratic arms, including Louis XV's and Madame de Pompadour's.

Three hollowed-out false books (each approx. 173 x 106mm) and two folders (394 x 260mm; 343 x 230mm). All over occasional light scratches and superficial cracking, some chipped edges.

Sold as a group not subject to return.
