The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall presentation, structurally sound. With scattered age and construction cracks, a few minor repairs at the leg joints. Further with general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches and tiny losses consistent with age and use, mainly at the feet. Stamped with various Roman numerals stamps at rails. Probably previously gilded, the gilding now removed; with a somewhat stained surface. Overall with evidence of minor previous woodworm, now inactive. The upholstery with minor marks, faint discoloration and overall signs of wear, as to be expected from use. Overall good, ready to place.
