The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
One teabowl cracked in half and restored, the old overpaint now slightly yellowed; another cracked across the length of the bowl and cleanly restuck; one teabowl with a small rim chip; two in good condition; all with some light surface wear and light wear to the gilding; a few minor imperfections in the making; a few minute frits.
