The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Scattered chips and frits to the rims throughout; some wear to the gilding; one soup plate with a hairline rim crack at 9 o’clock (approx.3 in.); most pieces with Y- or X-shaped glaze or hairline cracks to the center, mainly visible to the undersides; some rubbing and wear; some imperfections in the making.
