The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Some light wear and scratches; one cover restored, the old overpaint now starting to flake; one cover with its finial restored and several rim chips, some restored; another cover with some old touch-ups to the rim, a spot on the top and to the interior; a few pieces with a hairline crack; one with a Y-shaped hairline crack to the bottom.
